My Current Favourites — Creators, Books & Tools I Love

Every so often I like to share the things that are genuinely making my life a bit easier or lighter — because if something’s helping me juggle it all, chances are it might help you too. So here’s a little round-up: some wonderful business owners I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know, a couple of books that live on my nightstand, and a few apps I actually use every week.

Books I keep coming back to :

The Little Book of Mindfulness— Dr. Patrizia Collard . Ten minutes a day, that’s genuinely all it asks for. If you’ve ever felt too overwhelmed to “do mindfulness properly,” this is the gentlest possible way in.

365 Days of Positive Self-Talk — Dr. Shad Helmstetter
One I personally use most days. A page a day, a small nudge to talk to yourself the way you’d talk to someone you love.

Apps that actually earn their spot on my phone

AnyList
My go-to for meal planning and the weekly shop, all in one place — plan your meals, build the list, save your favourite recipes, and stop reinventing the wheel every Sunday night. Available on Google Play.
Canva
No surprise here — it’s how every printable in my shop gets made, and it’s genuinely approachable even if design isn’t your thing.
A cashback app that quietly pays you back for shopping you were doing anyway. (Referral link — using this supports the blog at no extra cost to you)
The AI trained by Anthropic. (Referral link.)

Podcasts

Honestly — whatever suits your taste! I’m a big believer in listening to what actually holds your attention rather than what you think you “should” be listening to.If you’ve got a favourite, I’d love to hear it.
